Plant life
Most alpine flora can be found in Abisko National Park.
Mount Njullá is sometimes referred to as “the flower mountain” because it has so many flowers. It has lime, circulating groundwater and a sunny southern exposure, which fosters rare plants. The very rare blunt-leaved orchid is one of the rarities. Two plants that indicate the ground is rich in lime are the mountain avens and Lapland rosebay.
