Tracking mammals

Winter is the best time of year to visit if you want to encounter animal life. With any luck, you might be able to see tracks left by red foxes, elks, reindeer, martens and wolverines.

About the activity

The smallest mammals flourish amongst the rocks and stones of Björnlandet. Some of the most unusual species include the wood lemming, grey-sided vole and the masked shrew.
