Fulufjället National Park
Träspång med lite frost på.

Here you will find information about when and how to visit the nationalpark. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Fulufjället is located in north-western Dalarna next to the Norwegian border about 25 km west of Särna. Follow road 70 north of Särna to get to the main entrance. After 4 km turn left towards Mörkret and Gördalen. From Mörkret follow the signs to Fulufjället National Park.

Important! There is no public transport from the nearest bus stop in Särna to Fulufjället.

Clothing and equipment

You can visit all of the entrances in ordinary shoes. If you are going out on trails other than the Njupeskär loop, rubber boots or waterproof hiking boots are recommended.

In the summer there can be periods with lots of mosquitoes, so remember mosquito repellent.

One of our trails is accessible for wheelchair and stroller. With some strength and guts you can get as far as the Njupeskär cabin, where you have a nice view of the waterfall. It is a gravel trail with STEEP slopes.
