Plant life

The national park has coniferous forests, deciduous forests, heaths, meadowland, boulder-strewn areas and sandy ground.

Some plants with very limited distribution in the world grow here. Some examples are tufted hairgrass, field wormwood, eyebright, cold eyebright and the beautiful pink Siberian primrose. Sea buckthorn grows here and there along the beaches.
