Norra Kvill National Park

History

The Swedish Parliament decided on May 6, 1927, that Norra Kvill should be set aside as a national park.

The original park was small, encompassing what today is only the central part around Stora Idgölen. During the spring of 1994, the park was expanded to its current size of 111 hectares.
