Björnlandet National Park

Bedrock in the area consists of a reddish-grey Revsund granite. This type of rock is typical of that found in the southern inland areas of Lapland, and it produces moraines that are low in nutrients.

The most interesting and typical geological features are the precipices, boulders and seas of boulders. The terrain in the park is very undulating, with forested hills. The highest point is on Storberget, which is 550 metres above sea level.
