Stenshuvud National Park

All entrance areas and their facilities are adapted for the disabled.

They have information boards, brochures and a map of the national park. In the car park there is an earth toilet. At the main entrance there also is a WC. Out on the grazing land you will find cows and sometimes sheep. If you do not want to come in contact with grazing livestock, you can ask at the Naturum visitor centre about paths that do not go into grazing land.

At the north entrance the orange trail has been hardened with stone dust for greater accessibility.

At the main entrance there is a WC adapted for the disabled, and the blue trail down to the sea has been hardened with fine gravel and boardwalk.

In Naturum there is an elevator down to the exhibit on the bottom level. In the exhibit it is easy to get around with a wheelchair, pram or walker. For children there are pallets to stand on so that they can reach up to the touch-friendly models.

All hiking trails except for Skåneleden go in loops so it is easy to get back to the starting point. The Skåneleden trail (SL4), on the other hand, goes straight through the national park from Kivik to Simrishamn.
