Burnt pine tree

About the activity

The forest in Tiveden has burned on at least 86 occasions between 1371 and 1853. You can see the damaged caused by the fires on several places in the park. A pine tree, located next to Stenkälla, survived the fire of 1835. You can still see the scorch marks from the fire on the tree trunk today.
